Eagles Flying Field
The
R/C Eagles Flying site is located in the Republic Services Sanitary Landfill
off of Gracemont Street, just north of Bolivar Ohio. The field was
originally surveyed in late 1997 with actual construction and grading done in
1998. A pavilion was constructed by the club members to provide shelter
and a secure storage area for club property. In addition, the pavilion
normally houses picnic tables for members and guests. Our field is
approximately 600' long and 100' wide with clear approaches on both the North
and South sides. The flight stations form the western boundary of flight operations
with no flying permitted over the pavilion or parking areas.
